[RL with Tyki | Where we going, baby?]
She'd seen him take Kasumi out, and bring her back in that fancy dress and jewelry. Tyki was good for something all right. An ambassador. Some sort of royalty.
A perfect time to see just what he had when he was offering.
Her sister was out somewhere, Nabiki didn't know. Probably with friends from the community or something. So she had Tyki all to herself.
In a nice little shirt and shorts, she waited outside on the porch.

"Very cute," he purred. "Shall I park, or do you want to hop in?"
no subject
She climbed into the car and asked immediately, "Where to?"
no subject
"Do you have a preference, or shall I surprise you?" he replied.

"I thought we could take a little tour, from top to bottom," he said conversationally. "Sound good?"
As he put his car into gear and took off down the road at high speed, calibrating the world-hopping mechanism, his eyes glittered somewhat with barely-concealed mischief.

She prepared her elbow on the window, chin in her palm. Pretending to look at the passing scenery, but really watching Tyki from the corner of her eye.
He was hot. And dangerous. And loaded. And definitely up for some fun.
She hid another smirk.

"Shall we gaze at the stars, my dear?" he purred as the blinding light faded.
They were racing along a dusty red landscape, craggy and rough-hewn mountains rising up around them as they drove along an ancient and dry riverbed. Tyki brought the car to a stop and glanced around with interest.
"Arid," he commented, looking out at Mars' alien landscape. "What do you think?"
no subject
No people. No lights. Why was he muttering about stars?
This isn't what she expected at all.
no subject
He cocked his head. "Wouldn't you at least like to be the only one you know who's set foot on Mars before we head to Venice for dinner?"
no subject
poutfrown. Why was he bringing her here? This was nowhere special-Wait, what, Mars?
And Venice. Which would be much better. "I'm not going to Italy in these clothes, Tyki-baby."
no subject
He cocked his head, giving her a wink. "And I am buying you exactly one outfit, so get those dollar-signs out of your eyes, my dear Nabiki," he added playfully.
no subject
Right. Must be magic or ki or something. Or an illusion. But illusions wouldn't have this much red dust. (Her shoes were going to be ruined, but Nabiki could always have Tyki buy her new ones.)
"Only one? How stingy." He'd buy her more, she'd make sure of it. A little coxing always did the trick; challenges were always a nice change of pace. Grinning up at him, she said, "It better be expensive~"
no subject
He laughed. "I guess we'll see who's the better player," he said, his eyes gleaming with challenge. "Because you're not the only one here."
Cocking his head, he added. "Shall we, my dear? If Mars isn't exciting enough for you, perhaps Venice will crack that aplomb of yours."
no subject
No, Mars wasn't really doing it for her. Why would she want to go to other planets? Earth was good enough. "Let's go to Venice"
Though she did scoop up a piece of rock and put it in her pocket. Moon rock was insanely expensive. People would go crazy over sometime from Mars.

The short jaunt had told him a little something about Nabiki, though. The girl wasn't as easily impressed as Kasumi, that was for sure. She didn't want outlandish fantasy - this was, perhaps, a little too far to go.
Sliding into the driver's seat and gunning the engine, he took off once more across the surface of Mars. "Venice it is," he said, and in a flash of light they were racing along a small, twisting road in Italy. Across the water, visible despite the distance, Venice sat low and majestic.
no subject
And so were lights in the distance. "Much better~" Nabiki said, wondering where they were going first.
Some place fancy, probably. Tyki liked to show off.
no subject
"Come," he said, holding out a hand towards her and offering her an impish smile. "This is a good spot to leave the car."
no subject
no subject
He cocked his head, his hand still held out precisely where it had been. "Don't you trust me, my dear Nabiki?"
no subject
With a smile she didn't mean, Nabiki said, "Of course, Tyki-baby. Wouldn't be here if I didn't."
no subject
"Then take my hand, my dear," he purred.

There was almost no sensation of movement. The air felt as solid under her feet as if she were standing on the ground, but they flew quickly up into the night air and across the water towards Venice.
no subject
Just pretty convenient.
"Very nice, Tyki-baby," she said, shifting her weight to lean against his side. "How long's it take?"
no subject
He touched down in the Piazza San Marco (http://www.bestpriceart.com/vault/wgart_-art-c-canalett-3-canal306.jpg) and gently let her go, offering her his arm once more in a gentlemanly fashion.
"I do believe there's a lovely little restaurant just a short distance away," he said. "Shall we take a gondola or walk the bridges?"
no subject
"A gondola," she said, taking his arm, "to a clothing store." A T-shirt and short-shorts to the kind of restaurant Tyki was suggestion? No way.

He tossed a few coins to the boatman and they climbed aboard, seating themselves in the small wooden boat as the man poled it away from the dock. Buildings rose up on either side of the canal, built right up to the water, and they passed under a small arched stone bridge.
no subject
Leaning up against his side, Nabiki gave Tyki the eyes no one could resist. "Doesn't the boatman sing?"
no subject
"Oh, I think so," he purred, and flicked his fingers at the boatman, gesturing for him to get on with it. The man cleared his throat and began to sing in Italian.
no subject
This was the kind of life she wanted.
Leaning closer, she smiled, eyes half lidded. "Thanks~"
no subject
She was a challenge, and that was even more fun.
He relaxed with her against him for a few minutes, listening to the lapping of the water on the piles, then the gondola bumped gently into a dock. "Ah, here we are," he said. "There's a lovely little shop here that should have everything you need."
no subject
The dock...looked like a dock. Not that she was excepting gold encrusted walkways, but that would have been something, at least.
Sitting up all the way, Nabiki waited for Tyki to get out first. A gentleman always went before the lady. And he actually was one.
no subject
The habit was all too ingrained for him not to offer the hand, anyway. As Nabiki said, he was a gentleman.
"The shop is just this way," he said, offering her his arm once more as he led her up the the stone steps to the street level and across the walkway to a small and very exclusive-looking boutique.

The dresses in the window were like something out of a magazine, though the style wasn't anything like the current in Japan. No lace and bright colors but sleek lines and what should probably be called elegance. They had better take orders, or have something different inside, because nothing they were displaying was anything she wanted.
no subject
DDDDDDDDDD: This took for ever I'm so sorry!!!
But in the back...sleek and shiny, not too bad. (http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2006-08/16/xinsrc_222080316204142114131.jpg) Nice way to show off the legs~
"Do you have this in a darker color?" That kind of blue was not her at all.
It's OK! I've been swallowed up by RL lately anyway, hahaha
"How is this, miss?" she asked. "The colour will bring out your eyes, and the colour of your hair."
:D Same same and thank you~
It fell across her hips a little funny, not fully embracing them like the other dresses would have, and the cut wasn't as high as the other. The color was nice, though.
Not nice enough.
She had the clerk bring out another one that was similar. It clung more and wasn't as revealing, chest wise. Admiring herself in the mirror, Nabiki still looked skeptical.
"Put it in the maybe pile," she told the clerk. "Bring another."
It was a little while before she was done, choosing three dresses in the end to model for Tyki. The plum one, a high cut slit at the side to show off come leg, but modest in the neckline, she came out in first.
no subject
He looked up at her as she came out, letting his eyes travel over her figure and take in every detail. "Nice," he purred, "Though I'm curious to see the others."
