Tyki's smirk widened, and with a flash they vanished from Japan.
"Shall we gaze at the stars, my dear?" he purred as the blinding light faded.
They were racing along a dusty red landscape, craggy and rough-hewn mountains rising up around them as they drove along an ancient and dry riverbed. Tyki brought the car to a stop and glanced around with interest.
"Arid," he commented, looking out at Mars' alien landscape. "What do you think?"
